Golden Editions ties its making to Sara Efia Reddin's own history: lamps and textiles handwoven in Ghana, where her mother's family is from, then assembled to order in her Barcelona workshop, with nothing kept in stock. She first travelled to Ghana at eighteen, nearly three decades before she launched her own lighting collection in 2019. In between lay nearly two decades as a design consultant in Paris, working in interiors, homewares and fashion for other brands. Trained as a textile designer at Central Saint Martins, she settled in Barcelona in 2021 and gave the label a permanent home.
