At Mia & Sole the change is planned for: a body that shifts over the years, and occasions and seasons that keep turning. The adjustment is sewn in. Cords run through the seams of the shirts and the knitwear, and on the two long dresses the sleeves come off. Marlene Engel and Sophia Brandis met in Berlin in 2014, shared a flat, and became business partners years later. They spent more than a year on the first collection in their own atelier. The company was registered in 2022 and the label went on sale in 2023.
