“I wanted to create wearable statements for peace.”
Dressed For Peace began the day Keren Kaufman left a Berlin swimming pool and noticed a stranger's T-shirt spelling the same word three ways, Peace, Salam, Shalom, and could not stop thinking about it. Not long after, in the summer of 2024, she turned the idea into a small, woman-led label that prints peace onto everyday organic cotton tees and sweatshirts, made mostly to order so little goes unworn, with some pieces embroidered locally in Neukölln. The message stays addressed to everyone, tied to no country and no side.
