Zisan Buga and Max Reinhardt founded ZAMT in Berlin in 2018, and the label's name is built from theirs. The company carries both surnames, ZAMT Buga Reinhardt GbR, and the two are still its managing directors. In the same year they also started a concept store. The range is leather first, bags and accessories made in Poland, with a smaller line of clothes behind it, some of it sewn and knitted in Berlin. The leather the label leads with is vegetable-tanned, worked with tannins from bark and wood rather than chrome.
