This beautiful chunky Alpaca scarf features a color that blends gold and light brown, making it a versatile accessory for various outfits. The scarf has been lovingly handknitted by Peruvian women artisans who work in fair conditions. The scarf is made with 100% premium Baby Alpaca, which is obtained from the first shearing of an adult alpaca (not from the baby animal) and hence is very soft. The scarf has a generous size and can also be used as a light blanket wrap. Dimensions: 55 cm * 200 cm/ 22 in * 79 in Composition and care: 100% Alpaca Wool. Wool naturally has self-cleaning properties; hanging out in the air will refresh the scarf. If required, handwash (preferably spot-clean) using mild wool detergent and air dry horizontally. Don't use fabric softener. Don't tumble dry. HeritageModa's founder grew up in Uttarakhand, in the Indian Himalaya. She studied computer science engineering, later added an MBA and spent ten years working in Bangalore. By her own account she built a career in corporate technology, leading large digital transformation projects. For herself she prefers to buy things made by hand, in clothing as much as for the home. She started the label in 2020, alongside a corporate job. Since around 2023 she has lived in Germany, and today she runs HeritageModa from Ratingen.
