3quarters began in Athens in 2015 on two conditions that Garyfalia Pitsaki and her brother John Pitsakis set themselves: the work had to be sustainable, and it had to be local. Garyfalia does most of the designs and John runs production and strategy. She trained as an architect, and her own bio lists degrees from NTUA in Athens and TU Delft.
