The cut he refuses to change
PERPÈT is a German menswear label built on one rule: the cut never changes. Founder Niklas Hertl makes swim shorts and T-shirts in Portugal, then guarantees the same fit every year, so a piece that once fit can be reordered without a second thought.
Most menswear works the other way around. A label finds a fit that sells, then quietly reworks it the next season, and the shirt that felt made for you is gone. PERPÈT starts from the opposite promise. Once a cut is right, it stays. Order the same piece a year later and the silhouette is the one you remember.
That promise decided everything else. The first product was a swim short, and it took more than eighteen months to settle: cut, fabric, and finish were worked until there was nothing left to adjust. It is sewn in Portugal, by hand, from OEKO-TEX certified cloth, the Clásico versions in a blue and white or pink and white seersucker with side pockets hidden into the seams.

The Spanish names are not decoration. Estampado Floral, Sombra del Olivo, Clásico Azul. They carry the mediterranean feeling the brand is after, warm coast, long light, nothing loud. A navy Clásico T-shirt followed, cut in slim and regular, 250 grams of cotton meant to hold its shape wash after wash.

The name says the rest. PERPÈT comes from the Catalan perpetù, eternal, and the two Ps of its mark turn on their side into a sign for endless. It is a small idea carried without irony: buy the thing once, learn your size, and stay loyal to your favorite items.
Same cut. Every year. That is the whole promise.
