oeá casts its own concrete candle vessels and offers refills, so the vessel stays long after the wax is gone. It's the one part of a candle that Andrea Bader and her daughter Johanna can make entirely themselves. Working from their home on the lake shore in Fincken in Germany, Andrea stirs the soap and pours the candles, while Johanna develops new products, packs orders, and looks after customer enquiries. Soap came first, more than a decade ago. It started as something they made for themselves, then for family and friends, long before there was a shop. The candles came later.
