“Better, social-ecological quality goods, accessible to everyone. That is the challenge of our time.”
Reh designs two lines from one desk in Berlin: stoneware thrown by hand at a family workshop in Saxony, and baby alpaca knitwear made in Arequipa, Peru. Eliza Helmerich named the label after her own initials and the Rehberge park near her first studio in Wedding, and still runs it without a team. She grew up in the Franconian countryside, where her grandfather, an artist and master baker, gave her an early education in art, before she trained in fashion design in London and assisted designers in New York, London and Paris. She moved to Berlin in 2014 and started Reh the following year.
