Perfectly Imperfect Dual Swim Shorts

This piece carries a visible mark. We decided to release it instead of destroying it, because the value of a garment sits in what it does for you, not in machine like perfection. The condition, honestly No care label sewn in; worn, and from our earlier production run. Why we do this Revivewear is how HACOY keeps a garment in use. Nothing here is a sale and nothing here is a seasonal promotion. Each piece is priced for what it is, a single garment with a history, and once it is gone it is gone. Details: Men swim shorts in a quick drying Italian swim fabric, reversible dual colour design, produced near Ferrara, Italy. Part of HACOY Circular Orbit for repair and reuse. Sold as a Revivewear piece, one of a kind, stock is exactly what you see.

“I have always seen clothing as a means of communication, and used it that way.”

Maximilian Rupp runs Hacoy in Munich and says plainly that he is not its designer. He brings the ideas and makes the business calls; Romana Tricoli, an Italian designer he knew from an earlier job, turns them into sketches. Born in Zurich and in Munich for more than twenty years, he studied business psychology and built Studibon, a student discount app, along the way. He also spent a semester in Spain and took a Master's in fashion brand management at Polimoda in Florence. He started Hacoy in 2021.
