Mate ceramics is a range of tableware and homeware: cups, plates, bowls, incense holders, cutlery rests, one-off vases and ceramic bag charms built by hand and finished with a stainless steel carabiner and paracord. Each cup shape carries a name and a published size, Neni, Bob, Lola, Cappu. Marie Technau came to clay from communication design, having worked mainly in digital before that, and she teaches as well as makes, in courses she gives at the studio.
