“I fell for cork early, for how warm and alive it feels and how much you can actually make it do. A good object should work every day and still make you smile when you pick it up.”
Seijo is David Meier and Johanna Egner-Meier, a couple in the small Bavarian town of Eichstätt. He is an industrial designer long taken with cork and what it can be made to do, and shapes the cork pieces; she is an art director and designs the linen cloths with Constanze Götz, the two of them making ordinary household things a little better than normal.
