Every Oswen boot and shoe comes down to three materials: leather, cork and natural crepe. The list is kept that short so the origin of each one can be documented. They are made by hand in a workshop in Portugal, and its owner is a shareholder in the label. Paul Tudor spent more than twenty years with other footwear brands before this: PUMA, adidas Originals, Clarks, and Birkenstock, where he was a product manager, and he has guest lectured on the sportswear design degree at Falmouth University. He grew up in Manchester. The label has been in Cologne since 2021.
